I finalized my epaper calendar! 🤩
Calendar events are pulled from @homeassistant the device itself is running @esphome. It automatically shows as many entries as can be fitted on the screen, same day entries get grouped together.
Optionally a random quote can be displayed on the bottom or alternatively the next event of the day. The device is battery powered and uses deep sleep to extend the battery life.

Appealing the removal didn’t yield any result. Google just repeated the same statement "the app was removed because it uploads the contact list" without even acknowledging any of the arguments I made in the appeal.
I understand that most of my audience here on Mastodon is more ideology aligned with F-Droid but the app sales on Google Play store have contributed significantly to me working (almost) full time on #Conversations_im.
Without the revenue from Google Play I can’t afford this.

Meine Zusammenfassung für Barrierefreiheit:
Alle erneuerbaren Energien haben seit der Situation vor einem Jahr zugenommen. Bei den bisherigen haben Kohle und natürlich Kernkraft abgenommen, aber Erdgas hat zugenommen.
@destatis selbst könnte natürlich leicht seiner gesetzlichen Verpflichtung nachkommen und eine detailliertere Bildbeschreibung liefern. Für mich ist das mühsamer.
Sie denken immerhin gerade darüber nach, wie das gehen könnte, und bitten so lange um Geduld.

#Google finally released more info about their new #GooglePlayPolicies:
Personal accounts must give Google legal name, legal address, email and phone number.
Google will publish legal name, country and email for developers.
Organization accounts must give the above info and a D-U-N-S number.
Google will publish legal name, address, email and phone number for organization accounts.
Google is effectively going to dox every single trans dev on #GooglePlay.

for now this seems to be limited to new accounts.
To me this is a class issue. Rich people will just rent an office somewhere and use that address instead of their home address.
@daniel As stated in the first screenshot: "Developers with existing Play Console accounts will also be required to provide this information soon."
It's definitely yet another thing that disproportionally affects those poorer and/or queer and that the rich can easily avoid accountability for, yeah. It shows the importance of us all standing together to protect ourselves, no matter which of us is being attacked specifically.

I use the playstore version because it has gcm/fcm enabled but I'd rather not of course.
